If you delete files or folders that you're syncing, you can restore them from the Windows recycle bin on your PC. To put your Windows recycle bin on your desktop, see Show or hide the Recycle Bin. The information in this article also applies to OneDrive (for work or school) files.

Uninstall from the Start menu. Select Start > All apps and search for the app in the list shown. Press and hold (or right-click) on the app, then select Uninstall. Uninstall in Settings. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features . Find the app you want to remove, select More > Uninstall.

Opening the Recycle Bin Property dialog box, you will find in the Settings for selected location section that it's all because of the selection of Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted, which results in direct deletion for files.

When you delete items from a site Recycle Bin, they're sent to the site collection Recycle Bin (also called the second-stage Recycle Bin). The first-stage Recycle Bin contributes to the storage used metric while the second-stage Recycle Bin does not.

The 64-bit version is installed by default unless Microsoft 365 or Office detects you already have a 32-bit version of Microsoft 365 or Office (or a stand-alone app such as Project or Visio) installed. In this case, the 32-bit version of Microsoft 365 or Office will be installed instead.

Find the Recycle Bin. If your desktop shows no icons at all, right-click (or press and hold) the desktop and select View. If Show desktop icons has no checkmark, click it to add one. If that doesn't work, try this: Select Start > Settings > Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings.

Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Using product keys with Office. Many tasks for Office products don't require a product key because your Microsoft account takes care of them instead.
