Resetting Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and resets all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reset. Important You won't lose files or data by resetting OneDrive on your computer. Resetting OneDrive only disconnects all your sync connections (including personal and work or school).

Turn off, disable, or uninstall OneDrive | Microsoft Support
Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Choose between the 64-bit, 32-bit, and ARM version of OneDrive
64-bit version The 64-bit version of OneDrive is automatically installed with later versions of Windows. Note If you're using PerMachine, you'll need to run OneDriveSetup.exe /allusers. If you have a Mac, OneDrive is available in the 64-bit version and Apple silicon version.

Upgrade to the new OneDrive sync app from old Groove.exe
Check the OneDrive icon on your taskbar. You might need to select the Show hidden icons arrow next to the notification area to see the OneDrive icon. The old OneDrive sync app (Groove.exe) has a blue cloud with white outlining as shown below. If you see different icons as shown below, you have the new OneDrive app and don't have to update the app.
