Edit a PDF - Microsoft Support
To edit a PDF, open it in Word. This works best with PDFs that are mostly text. PDFs of book chapters or something that looks like a manuscript from a copier won't be formatted well in Word. Go to File > Open. Find the PDF and open it (you might have to select Browse and find the PDF in a folder).

Edit or make changes to a PDF file - Microsoft Support
To add or edit text in a PDF that was made in an Office program like Excel or Publisher, start with the original Office file. Open that file in your Office program, make your changes, and then save the file in PDF format again.

View, print, and edit PDFs in a PDF reader - Microsoft Support
Click Print. Select options such as page orientation and number of copies, and then click Print. Notes: If your browser doesn’t have a built-in PDF viewer, you will see the following message when you first click Print. Click Download, and then open the PDF in a desktop application or viewer. You can then print the PDF from your application.

To convert a PDF and edit it in Word 2013 or newer, check out Edit PDF content in Word. Or use a third-party PDF converter tool to import your PDF into an Office file format, make your changes, and then save the file in PDF format again.

Save or convert to PDF or XPS in Office Desktop apps
You can use the Office programs to save or convert your files to PDFs so that you can share them or print them using commercial printers. And you won’t need any other software or add-ins. Use PDF format when you want a file that: Looks the same on most computers. Has a smaller file size. Complies with an industry format.

Opening PDFs in Word - Microsoft Support
To open a PDF file without converting it to a Word document, open the file directly wherever it's stored (for example, double-click the PDF file in your Documents folder). However, if you want to edit the PDF file, go ahead and open it in Word.

Save an Outlook message as a .eml file, a PDF file, or as a draft
Outlook doesn't include PDF as one of the default Save as types. The Microsoft Print To PDF utility included in Windows 10 or Windows 11 allows you to print any email message directly to a PDF. Open the message you want to save, and on the File tab, click Print .
