In the Clipchamp video editor, you can either record your screen or you can record both your screen and webcam together to produce training videos, react videos, presentations, gaming streams, and much more.

For PC games in full-screen (or full-screen exclusive) mode, you won't see Game Bar, but you can use the Windows logo key + Alt + R to start and stop recordings. You'll see the screen flash when the recording starts and completes.

For general help, visit Microsoft Support. Use the Xbox Game Bar with your keyboard and a screen reader to record a video clip of your favorite game or app, for example, if you find a usability issue with it and want to show the problem to the developer.

When background recording is turned on, you can record up to 30 minutes. Recordings automatically turn off after 30 minutes. Choose the maximum recording time for a clip so that it saves automatically when it reaches that length. To do so, choose a maximum recording length from the dropdown menu.

Uploading your captures to the OneDrive or Xbox network is helpful for two things: viewing your captures when you’re using a mobile or PC app from Xbox and sharing your captures. Automatic uploading is standard, but in some cases you might have to enable the setting.

Search for help on the taskbar, use the Tips app, select the Get help link in the Settings app, or go to support.microsoft.com/windows.
