Within Windows 10 and Windows 11 settings, you can install different language packs to translate and read content aloud in different languages. Interpreters can also switch their translation direction during a Teams meeting by selecting the language they’re currently translating into at the bottom of the meeting window.

If individual participants have a Teams Premium or Microsoft 35 Copilot license, only those licensed participants will see the Translate to option and can use translated captions and transcription.

In Word for Microsoft 365 when you open a document in a language other than a language you have installed in Word, Word will intelligently offer to translate the document for you. Click the Translate button and a new, machine-translated, copy of the document will be created for you.
