Use Visio Viewer to view or print Visio drawings - Microsoft Support
With Visio Viewer, you can open, view, or print Visio drawings, even if you don't have Visio installed. You cannot, however, edit, save, or create a new Visio drawing with Visio Viewer. For that, you need a full version of Visio installed.

View, create, and edit a diagram in Visio for the web
Using Visio for the web, you can view, create, and edit a diagram in the same way as other Office Online documents. You can also edit the diagram in the desktop app by using Visio 2013 or later. In Visio in Microsoft 365, you can create and edit the following file format: Visio Drawing (.vsdx).

Visio in Microsoft 365 supports the .vsdx file format, but it does not support the .vsd file format. You must use Visio Plan 1 or Plan 2 to work with the legacy .vsd file format.
