This article describes an update to add support for copying .mkv files from a Windows-based computer to a Windows Phone 8.1 via Windows Explorer. Before you install this update, check out the Prerequisites section.

Fixes an issue in which users cannot access removable devices on client computers that are running Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. This issue occurs after you enable and then disable a Group Policy setting that prevents users from accessing removable devices.
