If you already redeemed a product key, you're simply reinstalling the apps, or you know you have an assigned license through work or school, you can skip ahead and go to the section sign in to download and install Microsoft 365 or Office.

Office 2019 or 2016 for PC Office 2016 for Mac Office 2013 for PC. Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Step 1. Download the offline installer from your account portal. To download the offline installer, go to www.office.com. If you're not already signed in with the Microsoft account associated with your copy of Microsoft 365 or Microsoft 365 do that now.

Select the Data Files tab. All Outlook Data Files (.pst) and Offline Data Files (.ost) are listed along with the name of the account the files are associated with. If you cannot open your Outlook data file or suspect that the file is damaged, use the Inbox Repair tool (scanpst.exe) to repair errors in the file.

As you're getting your Microsoft 365 business subscription set up, you'll want to download and install your Microsoft 365 apps, like Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint, on your PC or Mac. Go to microsoft365.com and sign in with your Microsoft 365 account. Select Install apps.

The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter helps you automatically repair issues when you're blocked from installing or removing programs. It also fixes corrupted registry keys. First, you'll need to download the troubleshooter. Download troubleshooter. If you see the File Download box when you start downloading, select Run or Open.

View installed add-ins. Select File > Get Add-ins. Alternatively, you can also view your add-ins directly from the Home tab by selecting Add-ins . You can directly install add-ins from this page or select More Add-ins to explore. In the Office Add-ins dialog, select My Add-ins tab.
