Windows 10 Update Assistant doesn't run on ARM-based PCs. It's only supported for PCs using x86/64 processors. This troubleshooter assists customers whose machines are not yet updated to the latest release, Windows 10 Version 1607. This update will initially be released only to a small set of targeted customers. This set will expand over time.

Get Help has troubleshooters you can run for many common scenarios. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Run to start that troubleshooter.

Using this tool will reinstall the current version of Windows on your device. This tool preserves all your apps, documents, and settings. Make sure to keep your PC connected to a power source and the internet during reinstallation. The reinstall will take you to the Windows Update page in Settings.
