Clear browsing data stored on your device. To clear your Microsoft Edge browsing data, first decide if you want to delete the data only on the device you're currently using, or across all synced devices. To clear browsing data just on the device you're currently using, make sure sync is turned off.

In Internet Explorer, select the Tools button, point to Safety, and then select Delete browsing history. Choose the types of data or files you want to remove from your PC, and then select Delete. What gets deleted when you delete your browsing history.

Select Settings > Privacy, search, and services. Select Choose what to clear under Clear browsing data > Clear browsing data now . Under Time range, choose a time range from the list. Select Cookies and other site data, and then select Clear now. All your cookies and other site data will now be deleted for the time range you selected.

Data that appears on the dashboard can include data related to your Bing and Cortana searches, Microsoft Edge browsing, and location, voice, media, and apps and services activity. Once you clear your data, we'll delete it from the dashboard and begin removing it from our systems.

Click Start, click Run, type inetcpl.cpl, and then press ENTER. On the General tab, click Delete Cookies in the Temporary Internet Files section of the Internet Properties dialog box. In the Delete Files dialog box, click to select the Delete all offline content check box, and then click OK.

If you’re not signed in. To clear a single search from history, on the Search History page, click the X next to the search you want to delete. To clear all of your search history, on the Search History page, under Change history settings, click Clear all.This deletes any search history on this device.
