Modern Authentication Methods now needed to continue syncing Outlook ...
Option 1: Get a newer Outlook email app which supports Modern Authentication. If your Outlook client does not support Modern Authentication, you will need to upgrade to the latest version and then setup using Outlook.com Sync.

You can't open classic Outlook on a new Windows PC
This issue occurs because starting in 2024, many new devices are preinstalled with new Outlook for Windows and don't ship with classic Outlook. If you prefer to use classic Outlook at this time, a standalone version of classic Outlook for Windows is available for you to install.

Cumulative Update 23 for Exchange Server 2016 (KB5011155)
Cumulative Update 23 for Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 was released on April 20, 2022. It includes fixes for nonsecurity issues and all previously released fixes for security and nonsecurity issues. These fixes will also be included in later cumulative updates for Exchange Server 2016.

Symptoms. After you install or upgrade to Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 Cumulative Update (CU) 8, you receive error messages that resemble the following in computers event log: Log Name: Application. Source: ASP.NET 4.0.30319.0. Event ID: 1309.
Remove or delete an email account from classic Outlook for Windows
In classic Outlook for Windows, select File in the upper left corner of the screen. Select Account Settings > Account Settings. Select the account you want to delete, then select Remove. You'll see a message warning you that all offline cached content for this account will be deleted.
