Repeat these steps for each format and audio device to find the one that’s best suited for your setup.

Make sure your audio input and output are assigned to the audio device you want to use for party chat. In the Party widget, select the Party options… button and then choose Party audio. Under Audio output and Audio input, choose your audio device from the selection drop-down.

If you can't hear chat audio when you use the Xbox One Chat Headset, or if others can't hear you, try the following solutions first. Disconnect the headset or unplug the headset cable from the bottom of the controller, and then reconnect it firmly.

Open Bluetooth & devices settings. Scroll to the Device settings section. Look for the presence of a setting titled Use LE Audio when available. Ensure this setting is turned On to use LE Audio. If this setting is not available, your PC does not currently support LE Audio.

You can set your spatial audio mode in Settings > General > Volume & audio output, under the Headset format drop-down menu. Headset audio is controlled via the MixAmp’s physical volume dials. You won’t be able to adjust headset volume or chat/game mix using the Xbox console settings.
