The explorer.exe process reads thousands of Windows Push Notification Platform (WPN) and Windows Notification Facility (WNF) values from the following registry subkey during the user logon: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Notifications.
