“An operating system wasn’t found” error when booting Windows
Windows 10. Symptoms. When trying to boot Windows, you receive the error: An operating system wasn’t found. Try disconnecting any drives that don’t contain an operating system. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart. Resolution. A bootable USB or DVD with Windows 7 or higher is needed to bring up the Command Prompt.
