Microsoft has discovered a vulnerability in Office Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro project signing. This vulnerability might enable a malicious user to tamper with a signed VBA project without invalidating its digital signature.

Regsvr32 is a command-line utility to register and unregister OLE controls, such as DLLs and ActiveX controls in the Windows Registry. Regsvr32.exe is installed in the %systemroot%\System32 folder in Windows XP and later versions of Windows.

Workaround. To temporarily work around this issue, move the Msdia80.dll file to the Drive:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VC folder.
