Use the Add a language feature to install another language for Windows 11 to view menus, dialog boxes, and supported apps and websites in that language. To do this: Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.

If you use OneNote Learning Tools, Learning Tools in Word, and Read Aloud in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Edge, you can download and apply new languages and voices for text-to-speech features.

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region. Choose a language from the Add a language list under Preferred languages, and then select Options. Select Download from the Download language pack option. After the language pack is installed, select Back.

To reduce disk space requirements in Windows 10 and improve installation time, language packs have been split into language components and Features on Demand v2 (Capabilities). Language components include the user interface text for that language and basic Cortana capabilities.

In the Translate to dropdown, choose the language you want the page translated into. The default is the language you've set for Microsoft Edge. To translate the page, click Translate. To always automatically translate from the source language, select the Always translate from [Language] check box.

Install a Local Experience Pack to use Windows 10 in the language of your choice. These packs receive regular updates through the Microsoft Store to continually improve the experiences. Note: Local Experience Packs can only be installed on Windows 10, version 1803 and later.

Click the Word menu, or the menu for the Microsoft 365 application you opened, and then select Preferences. Under Authoring and Proofing Tools, click East Asian Languages. Select Japanese, Simplified Chinese, or Traditional Chinese.

Translate an email in Outlook. In Outlook, you can translate words, phrases, and full messages when you need them. You can also set Outlook to automatically translate messages you receive in other languages.
