To check if your Microsoft account is associated with Office, sign in to Subscriptions. Your Office product or Microsoft 365 subscription should be listed there. If it's not, your email address won't work for signing in to Office. Activation can fail if you have multiple copies of Office installed.

When an application dynamically loads a dynamic link library (DLL) without specifying a fully qualified path, Windows tries to locate the DLL by searching a well-defined set of directories.

To activate Windows using your digital license, in the troubleshooter, select Activate Windows, and then select Activate. A Windows 11 digital license is associated with your device. If you make significant changes, such as replacing your motherboard, Windows will no longer find a license that matches your device.

First, you'll need to download the troubleshooter. Download troubleshooter. If you see the File Download box when you start downloading, select Run or Open. The troubleshooter provides steps for you to follow. If a program isn't listed in the uninstall options, you'll be asked for that program's product code.

In the File Download dialog box, click Run or Open, and then follow the steps in the File and Folder Troubleshooter. Notes: This troubleshooter might be in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for versions of Windows in other languages.

Depending on how you got your copy of Windows 11, you'll need either a digital license or a 25-character product key to activate it. Without one of these, you won't be able to activate your device. A digital license (called a digital entitlement in Windows 11) is a method of activation in Windows 11 that doesn't require you to enter a product key.
