Microsoft is retiring the Windows legacy inbox Troubleshooters, such as Keyboard troubleshooter and Speech troubleshooter, and the Microsoft Support Diagnostic Tool (MSDT) that runs them.

To invoke the classic Outlook diagnostics in the Get Help app directly go to Classic Outlook troubleshooters. Output from the classic Outlook Get Help diagnostic go to this folder, %LocalAppData%\GetHelp. There are some scenarios where the Get Help troubleshooters may not work.

You need to be on Windows 10 or higher to run the troubleshooter. You need to be on the same Windows PC as classic Outlook to run the troubleshooter.

Get Help has troubleshooters you can run for many common scenarios. These often help resolve issues without the need to contact support. If a troubleshooter is available for your issue, select Start to run that troubleshooter. After you run any troubleshooter, Get Help provides details on any findings and suggestions for possible remedies.

First, you'll need to download the troubleshooter. Download troubleshooter. If you see the File Download box when you start downloading, select Run or Open. The troubleshooter provides steps for you to follow. If a program isn't listed in the uninstall options, you'll be asked for that program's product code.

Use the uninstall troubleshooter to uninstall Microsoft 365, Office 2021, Office 2019, or Office 2016 from your Windows PC. Select the button below to start the uninstall troubleshooter. Click Open if you get a pop-up window indicating This site is trying to open Get Help.

In your downloads folder, double-click the Office Deployment Tool exe file to install it. If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, click Yes.
