Workaround. To work around this issue, run the SQL Server setup program directly from the SQL Server installation media without wrapping the Setup program inside InstallShiled or a bootstrapping application.

Download and install SP1 from the download center at Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Service Pack 1 (SP1). Download and install CU4 for SP1 from Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2014 SP1.
