Use Microsoft Query to retrieve external data
By using Microsoft Query to retrieve data from your corporate databases and files, you don't have to retype the data that you want to analyze in Excel. You can also refresh your Excel reports and summaries automatically from the original source database whenever the database is updated with new information.

Create, load, or edit a query in Excel (Power Query)
By default, Power Query loads queries to a new worksheet when loading a single query, and loads multiple queries at the same time to the Data Model. You can change the default behavior for all your workbooks or just the current workbook.
