If installation doesn't start automatically, browse the disc to find the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe or Install.exe. Open the file to start installation. Insert the disc into your PC, and then follow the instructions on your screen. You might be asked for an admin password.

setup.exe /configure config.xml. Start an Office application (such as Excel), and then select File > Account. In the Product Information section, select Update Options > Update Now. Note If you are prompted to activate Office again, enter your Microsoft account and password.

When the Setup program is finished uninstalling Groove, restart the computer. In Add or Remove Programs, click Groove Help if it is present, and then click Remove . In Windows Explorer, find and delete the Groove directories.

Install Microsoft 365 2019 or 2016 on a PC. Remember a one-time purchase version of Microsoft 365 is licensed for one install only. Depending on your browser, select Open file (in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome), or Save File (in Firefox).

Select the Microsoft 365 folder from the virtual drive and then double-click either the Setup32.exe to install the 32-bit version of Microsoft 365, or Setup64.exe to install the 64-bit version to begin the offline installation.

Download the desktop app for Windows 7 and earlier for 32-bit or 64-bit. Note: The OneDrive app isn’t supported on Windows XP.
