Ready to install? Before you begin, make sure your PC or Mac meets the system requirements. If you already redeemed a product key, you're simply reinstalling the apps, or you know you have an assigned license through work or school, you can skip ahead and go to the section sign in to download and install Microsoft 365 or Office.

Select Update Driver. If Windows doesn't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and follow their instructions. Reinstall the device driver. In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.

Connect a USB drive to your PC, select it, and then select Next. Select Create. Many files need to be copied to the recovery drive, so this might take a while. If you ever need to use the recovery drive to reinstall Windows 11 on your PC, see Recovery options in Windows for further instructions.

Windows 11 Windows 10. If your printer isn't responding, you may need to remove it and reinstall it so Windows can download and install the proper drivers. Make sure your printer is on and connected to your PC. Open Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners . Select the name of the printer, and then choose Remove.

Select Install apps. Follow the instructions in the browser to download the installer and start your installation. Tip. As your apps are installing you might see the User Account Control prompt pop up and ask Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? Select Yes. Close the installer window after it's finished.

To create the installation media, here's what you'll need: A PC with a reliable internet connection. The download time will vary, depending on your internet connection. A USB flash drive, external hard drive, or DVD. A blank USB flash drive or external hard drive with at least 8 GB of space, or a blank DVD (and DVD burner).

If installation doesn't start automatically, browse the disc to find the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe or Install.exe. Open the file to start installation. Insert the disc into your PC, and then follow the instructions on your screen. You might be asked for an admin password.

Windows 10 . Select the Start button, type Programs and select Add or remove programs in the list of results.. Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall.. If you don't see OneDrive in the list, press the Windows key and R to open a Run dialog, then type appwiz.cpl and press OK.
