Files and folders can be shared by sending someone a sharing link, or by giving them direct access to the file or folder. (People may also have access to a file or folder if they've been given access to the site itself.) If you are the file owner, you can stop sharing the file or folder.

Work with synced files in File Explorer. Windows: Sync SharePoint and Teams files with your computer. macOS: Sync files with OneDrive on MacOS. Training: Sync files in Microsoft 365 or SharePoint document libraries so they’re always available on your computer even when you’re offline.

Sharing OneDrive files, SharePoint files, or Lists with other people allows you to securely collaborate with people outside your organization. If you sign in with a work or school account, you can send a link to specific people, either inside or outside of your organization.

Microsoft is aware of new variants of the class of attack known as speculative execution side-channel vulnerabilities. The variants are named L1 Terminal Fault (L1TF) and Microarchitectural Data Sampling (MDS). An attacker who can successfully exploit L1TF or MDS may be able to read privileged data across trust boundaries.

How to find files. You'll find help below in these sections: Search for your files on OneDrive.com. Look in the Recycle bin. Check for files in your Personal Vault. Search for your files on another Microsoft account. If you still can't find your files. Folder was removed from your OneDrive.

To share a file or folder over a network in File Explorer, do the following: Right-click (or long-press) a file, and then select Show more options > Give access to Specific people. Select a user on the network to share the file with, or select Everyone to give all network users access to the file.

SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

Microsoft 365 subscription no longer available. If you leave the family group, everyone you’ve shared the subscription with will lose access. If your Microsoft 365 Family subscription expires, you may need to remove then re-share to the Family group.

When you need a new shared location to store team files, you can create a site that contains a shared library right from OneDrive, add members, and start working together. And it’s easy to copy or move files where you and others need them.
