Fixes an issue in which recycled files are deleted permanently if you delete files from a DFS link in a network environment on a client computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 after you redirect the Recycle Bin to the DFS link.

This article describes an update that adds Microsoft Hyper-V integration components (integration services) to Windows 8.1, Windows 8, or Windows 7. Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites section.

Here's how to get the Recycle Bin on your desktop in Windows 10: Select the Start  button, then select Settings . Select Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings. Select the Recycle Bin check box > Apply. Notes: To get to desktop icon settings in Windows 8.1, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, then select Search.

While items are in the site recycle bin, you can restore items you deleted to their original location. If you're using SharePoint in Microsoft 365, you can even view and restore items that were deleted by someone else, as long as you have edit permissions.

Make sure you have the latest updates for Windows and device drivers. 2. Restart your PC and open only the apps you need. 3. Use ReadyBoost to help improve performance. 4. Make sure the system is managing the page file size. 5. Check for low disk space and free up space.

Find the Recycle Bin. If your desktop shows no icons at all, right-click (or press and hold) the desktop and select View. If Show desktop icons has no checkmark, click it to add one. If that doesn't work, try this: Select Start > Settings > Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings.

This feature works for links to Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files, stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, that you click in Word, Excel, Outlook, or PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 on Windows or Mac. Once a user turns this feature on, it will apply to all three apps - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Your desktop icons may be hidden. To view them, right-click the desktop, select View, and then select Show desktop icons. To add icons to your desktop such as This PC, Recycle Bin and more: Select Start , open Settings , then under Personalization , select Themes .
