OneDrive. Troubleshoot. Other issues. Turn off, disable, or uninstall OneDrive. If you just don't want to use OneDrive, the easiest solution is to unlink it - see the steps below. Tips: If you want to stop OneDrive for a while, or not use all of it, here are some other solutions:

Windows 10 . Select the Start button, type Programs and select Add or remove programs in the list of results.. Under Apps & features, find and select Microsoft OneDrive, and then select Uninstall.. If you don't see OneDrive in the list, press the Windows key and R to open a Run dialog, then type appwiz.cpl and press OK.

Troubleshoot. Reinstall OneDrive. OneDrive (home or personal) Reinstalling Microsoft OneDrive can sometimes resolve sync issues and resets all OneDrive settings. OneDrive will perform a full sync after the reinstallation. You won't lose any data by uninstalling OneDrive.

Turn on Windows backup. To turn on Windows backup and choose your backup settings, select Start > Settings > Accounts > Windows backup. Open Windows backup settings. The following items can be backed up: OneDrive folder syncing. Turn on OneDrive folder syncing to start backing up your files and folders right from Settings.

Sign in to Office.com and go to OneDrive. Select My Files. Choose where you want to upload a file or folder. Select Upload > Files or Folders. Find what you want to upload and select Open . Or, you can select files or folders on your computer and drag them into the OneDrive web browser window.

Sign in to download and install Microsoft 365 or Office. Tip: Get tech expertise with Business Assist.

In Microsoft Edge, select More options > Settings > Profiles > Sync. You'll see a list of the features and data types available for sync. Select the toggles along the right side of the screen to turn sync on or off for each feature. Note: If you choose to sync favorites, any tabs you previously set aside will also be synced.
