If you accidentally delete a file or folder in OneDrive, you may be able to recover it later from the OneDrive recycle bin, and if you're a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you can even restore your entire OneDrive if something goes wrong.

Workaround. To work around this issue, follow these steps: Start an Office application that isn't OneDrive. For example, start Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Click the File tab, click Account, and then click Switchaccount. Click Add Account and then enter the Microsoft 365 account that uses OneDrive.

Make sure your Windows device is connected to the internet. Make sure Windows is up to date by going to Windows Update on your device and checking for available updates. Reboot your device and try again. Ensure your USB ports are not disabled in Device Manager. Try another USB 2.0 or 3.0 port.

Update your Xbox Wireless Controller. Keeping your controller updated with the latest software maximizes your controller's capabilities and compatibility. You can update your controller wirelessly, with a USB connection, or on a PC using the Xbox Accessories app.

How to sign in with a security key. There are different types of security keys that you can use, like a USB key that you plug in to your device or an NFC key that you tap on an NFC reader. Make sure to familiarize yourself with the type of security key you have by reading the instruction manual from the manufacturer.

Step 1: Verify your identity. You can request a password reset directly from your console if you have access to the phone number or alternate email that you previously provided. On the console Sign in screen, type in your email address, and then select the I forgot my password button.
