Surface Go 2 and Windows

Surface Go 2 comes with:

  • Windows 10 Home edition in S mode (consumer customers)

  • Windows 10 Pro edition (commercial customers)

You can switch from Windows 10 S to Windows 10 at no additional charge. Once you switch out of S mode, you can't switch back. For more info, see Switching out of S mode in Windows 10.

Connect your device anywhere

Get laptop versatility with the built-in Kickstand and Signature Type Cover. With WiFi and optional LTE Advanced, you’ll be able to work anywhere you need to.

Performance from day to night

Run Office 365, apps, Netflix, and more with the Intel® Pentium® Gold and Pentium® M processors available for Surface Go 2.

Browse and play on your PixelSense™ Display

Your screen has a higher resolution on its 10.5 inch display. The PixelSense Display makes your movies and shows look great, while the built in Dolby® Audio makes it sound great too.

Seamless, safe, and secure

Sharing Surface Go 2 with your family is easy and safe with multiple-user logins, screen time limits, and content filtering. You’ll have space for your photos, documents, and other files on Surface Go 2. If you need more storage, use an SD card or get 5 GB of free storage of OneDrive with a Microsoft account.
