Symptoms
In Microsoft Skype for Business Server 2019 or Skype for Business Server 2015, when you try to install new databases by using the Topology Builder or by running the Install-CsDatabase cmdlet, you receive the following error message:
InstallDatabaseInternalFailure: An internal error has occurred while trying to create or update the database.
Error: Error executing batch.

Resolution
To fix this issue, install one of the following updates:

For Skype for Business Server 2019, install the December 2019 cumulative update 7.0.2046.151 for Skype for Business Server 2019, Core Components.

For Skype for Business Server 2015, install the July 2019 cumulative update 6.0.9319.559 for Skype for Business Server 2015, Core Components.
