The Threat Management Gateway 2010 Interactive Diagnostics Package was designed to collect a comprehensive set of information for troubleshooting TMG 2010 issues.  The Threat Management Gateway 2010 Interactive Diagnostic makes use of the TMG Data Packager.  The Diagnostic can collect either Static or Scenario-based "real-time" data.

TMG Data Packager


File Name

The TMG Data Packager creates a single cab file containing Forefront TMG diagnostic information that can be easily sent to Microsoft Product Support Services for analysis

Event Logs - General


File Name

System and Application Event logs from the last 45 days - text, CSV and EVTX formats


System Information


File Name

System Information collected using the MSInfo32 tool- text and NFO formats


Update History


File Name

Collects a list of installed updates and hotfixes- text and CSV formats


NetSh TMG show all


File Name

Collects the following TMG information:

Creation Objects
Active Sessions
NLB hook rules
NLB server assigned ranges
Dynamic Allowed Ranges List
Persistent Allowed Ranges List
