Symptoms
When you try to add a credit as an advanced ledger entry (ALE) line in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, you receive the following error message:
Transaction Transaction_Name exceeds the budget funds available for dimension value Account_Number by Amount.
Cause
This problem occurs because the credit decreases the ledger budget amount instead of increasing the ledger budget amount when the credit is entered as an advanced ledger entry.
Resolution
