Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Office Project 2007 and in Microsoft Dynamics SL:

You open a project in the Project Maintenance (PA.PRJ.00) screen and then click to select the Microsoft Project check box.

You open Project 2007 to view the project that you tried to integrate.
In this scenario, you notice that the project was not integrated from Microsoft Dynamics SL into Project 2007. Additionally, you receive the following error message in MSDSLEventlog:
Project Web Service: Error: QueueCreateProject Unable to connect to the remote server
URL: = http://machinename:56737/SHAREDSERVICES1/PSI/project.asmx
INNER: = A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 192.168.56.190:56737
Then, you receive the following error message:
DSL_2_Project Project Failed On Create
Symptoms
This problem occurs because Windows Firewall is blocking TCP port 56737 on the computer that is running Project Server (IIS).
Cause
To resolve this issue, open TCP port 56737 in Windows Firewall. To do this, follow these steps:

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

Click Windows Firewall.

Click the Exceptions tab.

Click the Add Port button.

In the Name box, type a name for the port.

In the Port Number box, type 56737.

Click to select the TCP option.

Click OK.
Note If a firewall program is being used instead of or in addition to Windows Firewall, contact your system administrator to open TCP port 56737.
