Symptoms

When you change channels for H.264 TV broadcast content through Windows Media Center in Windows Embedded Standard 7, the channel change takes about 3 to 5 seconds to complete instead of the expected 2 to 3 seconds.

Cause

This issue occurs because the H.264 codec is initialized two times in a row during the channel change.
