This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Italian (it) region.

The article describes that a country-specific update is available for Italy to support e-invoices format upgrade to version 1.2 in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1.

More Information

In order to support legal requirements related to Italian electronic invoices format upgrade to version 1.2, the following functional changes are introduced in MS Dynamics AX:

 - Sales invoice transformation is changed.
 - Project invoice transformation is changed.

The updated XSL transformations files are available by the following link (depending on Microsoft Dynamics AX version):

https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/global/deployment/downloads/hot-fixes/msdaxelecinvoiceitaly

Users need to store transformation files locally and make the references to these files respectively in E-invoices parameters:

  1. Accounts receivable > Setup > eInvoices > Electronic invoice parameters > General > XSLT transformation > "XSLT transformation for customer invoices"

  2. Accounts receivable > Setup > eInvoices > Electronic invoice parameters > General > XSLT transformation > "XSLT transformation for project invoices"

Then users need to update "Transmission format" value to "FPA12" in E-invoices parameters:

Accounts receivable > Setup > eInvoices > Electronic invoice parameters > Company information >Transmitter information> "XSLT transformation for customer invoices" > "Transmission format"

Note: Only public companies are supported in Microsoft Dynamics AX although a new format also covers private companies.

A new value "N7" of "Natura" element is implemented for the cases when VAT is paid in another EU state.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
