Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a claims enabled Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 site.

The claims enabled SharePoint Server 2010 site has multiple cookies.

You try to crawl the site.
In this scenario, the crawl fails. Additionally, when users try to search for something, they receive an access denied error message.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, install the following update packages:
