Symptoms
If you specify wildcards as part of your accepted domains, message aren't successfully delivered, and the Edge server returns a "status: Unreachable, reason: NoMatchingConnector" error message.
Cause
This issue occurs because the Edge server does not consider wildcards. Therefore, the subdomains for routing messages through the Edge server can't find the connector.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install one of the following updates:
Cumulative Update 11 for Exchange Server 2019 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2019
Cumulative Update 22 for Exchange Server 2016 or a later cumulative update for Exchange Server 2016
