Add the click-to-call feature for RCC-enabled users from the contact card in Skype for Business or Lync 2013

Lync Server 2013 Skype for Business More...Less

Assume that you enable remote call control(RCC) for an account in Microsoft Lync 2013 (Microsoft Skype for Business) or in Microsoft Outlook 2013. When you use the account to call a contact from the contact card, the phone number hyperlink of the contact is not clickable.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the July 14, 2015 update (KB3054946) for Lync 2013 (Skype for Business).

Note Lync 2013 was upgraded to Skype for Business in April 2015.
