MSN Weather: The best way to plan your day. Get the latest weather conditions, whether you're hitting the slopes or the beach, or checking the forecast for your commute. See accurate 10-day and hourly forecasts for whatever you do.
MSN Weather allows you to sync your data from apps across all of your devices and browsers, including the MSN website and MSN apps on your devices. Most personalized items can sync across your devices by signing into the MSN site or your MSN app with your Microsoft account.

Select the settings icon

Select Always detect my location.

Select the back arrow (top left) , to exit.

If it's still not correct, select Seeing different weather? to provide more accurate location information.
You can find the location Search box in the top right of the window.

Start typing the location name.

Select a place from the suggested entries, or press enter to select the highlighted option.

Search results are held at the top of the screen. Select to remove them.
There are two ways to see different types of weather maps and information:

Scroll down the page to see Weather maps. Select a different icon from the top of the map, including temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity, air quality and more.

Select one of the icon options from the left pane: hourly and monthly forecasts; air quality; lifestyle; and historical weather.
To show weather for your current location, ensure that your device location permissions are enabled.

Tap the Me icon at the bottom of the screen

Select Permissions in the app

Select Permissions again in your device Settings

Tap Location and select Allow only when using the app.

Select back to return to the MSN weather app.

Tap the location entry at the top of the screen to bring up the search box.

Search for a location.
To show weather for your current location, ensure that your device location permissions are enabled.

Select Permissions in the app

Select Permissions again in your device Settings

Tap Location and select Allow only when using the app.

Select back to return to the MSN weather app.

Tap the location entry at the top of the screen to bring up the search box.

Search for a location.
Ensure that your device location permissions are enabled.
Notes:

If your current location isn't being detected it might be because you're in a region where location detection is disabled such as China, Macao or Taiwan.

Some smaller locations may not have weather data available. If your current location’s weather data is unavailable, the Weather app will show you data from a nearby location. You can choose to use this larger location for your weather.
