This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics NAV for the Eastern European (EE) language locale.

Symptoms

When you post a final invoice in the Prepayment scenario by using an updated value-added tax (VAT) date in the East European version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 and of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with Feature Pack 1 installed, the system posts two VAT ledger entries. However, the VAT date is incorrect for the VAT deduction entry. The system uses the Posting date and ignores the VAT date that is defined in the header.
