Symptoms

When you use the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 or Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 List Component for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 integration, the following issues occur.

Dynamics CRM 2013

  • The CRM List Component inconsistently experiences "parameter validation" errors in SharePoint Online.

  • The newly released SharePoint List Web Parts consistently cause the document management process to freeze and display a "loading" icon when the Web Parts are configured on a SharePoint 2010 server.

Dynamics CRM 2011

  • Integration with SharePoint 2010 Server does not work if Windows 6.1-KB2894844-x64 is installed.

  • If a user does not have general access to a folder that is created by a Dynamics CRM record, the user is redirected to the parent SharePoint folder and can see all folders that belong to other Dynamics CRM entities on the SharePoint List Component. You expect that access will be denied.

  • The CRM List Component inconsistently experiences "parameter validation" errors in SharePoint Online.

  • The newly released SharePoint List Web Parts consistently cause the document management process to freeze and display a "loading" icon when the Web Parts are configured on a SharePoint 2010 server.

  • When you select any entity in the document settings, the corresponding folder is not created in the SharePoint location for an Opportunity record.

  • Dynamics CRM users cannot add more than one document location if the document location is based on an entity-centric structure such as the following:

    Account/<accountname>/opportunity/<opportunityname>
