Introduction

An update is available for Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2. The update adds Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 to the list of supported platforms for the following features:

  • Software distribution

  • Software update management

  • Desired configuration management

Note This update affects only those platforms that are included in the supported platforms list. The client part of KB 2750782 (SCCM2007AC-SP2-KB2698619-x86-ENU.msp) was originally released to provide support for Windows 8. However, it also applies to Windows 8.1 clients.

Prerequisites

To apply this hotfix, you must have System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 installed.
