Summary

This update for Azure Stack version 1906 includes fixes to Test-AzureStack UpdateReadiness. No new features are being introduced in this update.

Important changes include the following:

  • All the fixes that were previously packaged and documented in Azure Stack Hotfix 1.1906.11.52.

  • Fixed issue: Improves "Test-AzureStack UpdateReadiness" logic to eliminate unnecessary failures that are caused by service fabric versioning.

Symptoms

When you run Test-AzureStack -Group UpdateReadiness, the command fails and generates the following warning message:

Mismatched cluster manifest versions: 3 2. Please perform a config upgrade to sync manifest state

Cause

This issue occurs because of a benign service fabric version mismatch.

Hotfix information

A fix for this issue is available in Azure Stack Hotfix 1.1906.12.54.

To apply this hotfix, you must have version 1.1906.0.30, 1.1906.1.35, 1.1906.2.37, 1.1906.9.49, or 1.1906.11.52 installed.

Important As outlined in the Release Notes for the 1906 update, make sure that you refer to the update activity checklist for running Test-AzureStack (together with specified parameters). Then, resolve any operational issues that are found, including all warnings and failures. Also, review active alerts and resolve any that require action.
