Summary

This update for Azure Stack version 1906 includes fixes to update services. No new features are being introduced in this update.

This issue impacts the notification mechanism for new updates in the operator portal. If you do not see this update in the portal then you must download it and manually install the update. Refer to the File Information section for instructions on how to manually apply updates.

Important changes include the following:

  • All fixes previously packaged and documented by Azure Stack Hotfix 1.1906.1.35

  • Fixed issue: Notifications for new updates do not show up in update tile or resource provider.

Symptoms

  • Update notification: After updating to 1906, notifications for new updates do not display.

Cause

  • Update notification: Bug in the update service prevents new updates from displaying. 

Hotfix information

To apply this hotfix, you must have version 1.1906.0.30 or 1.1906.1.35 installed.


Important As outlined in the Release Notes for the 1906 update, make sure that you refer to the update activity checklist on running Test-AzureStack (with specified parameters), and resolve any operational issues that are found, including all warnings and failures. Also, review active alerts and resolve any that require action.
