Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You install Windows Internet Explorer 11 on a computer that is running Windows 8.1.

You install Microsoft Lync 2010 on the computer.

You resize a Lync 2010 chat window.
In this scenario, a black region is displayed on the chat window.
