It is possible to recover lost videos on Clipchamp in some instances.
Unfortunately recovering the files won't be possible if you're using our video editor without Content Backup enabled and have deleted or lost the original files you used in your project from your computer. See Why do I need to locate my files to understand why. We suggest retrieving the files from their original source. Some smartphones keep backups of deleted videos for several days.
If you recorded webcam videos or screen recordings in Clipchamp, try searching for these files on your computer. These .WebM files are saved to a location you selected when you saved the recording, or to whichever folder your browser is automatically set to download to, such as your Downloads folder.
Be sure to keep backup copies of your original files, or alternatively, use Content Backup to back up your video's media in the cloud to avoid losing files in future.
