Symptoms
Assume that you select a customer and register a sales transaction for the customer in Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail 2009 POS. When you try to register a payment transaction that uses the Account type for the customer, the selected customer ID is not presented in the Customer account dialog box.

Installation information
Before you install the hotfix, close Retail POS and make a backup of the store databases. Extract the hotfix files to a folder, and then, in the retailpos subfolder in the extract location, double-click AxUpdate.exe. Follow the instructions in the setup wizard. When installation is complete, restart Retail POS and log on as usual.
Prerequisites
You must have Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail 2009 R1 POS installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
You may be prompted to restart the computer after you install the hotfix.

The global version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, start Retail POS and, on the logon screen, verify that the release number is 5.0.1506.1109.
