Question:
When I print the aged trial balance (Reports - Sales - Trial Balance), or run the aging using the Receivables Aging Process window (Routines - Sales - Aging), the process completes, but the customer's balance doesn't age. Everything stays in the current aging bucket.
Answer:
The customer may not have been assigned a statement cycle. If the records were imported without importing a statement cycle, they will not age.
To correct the problem, delete the customer record and import it again, including a value for the statement cycle field. You also can open each customer record in the Customer Maintenance Options window (Cards - Sales - Customer - Options) and select a statement cycle or change the Statement Cycle in the Customer Class and roll down.
