From the Home Screen you can customize the name color, or icons of your journals. This helps make them easy to identify and helps you organize how your thoughts are organized into different journals.

Creating a New Journal

  1. From the Home Screen tap the Add New Journal button.

  2. Switch between writing or typing the journal name from the button in the lower left.

  3. Type or write a name.

  4. Choose a color and icon that will help easily identify your journal.

  5. Tap Done with finished.

If you create your journal's name by inking using a digital pen, the ink will be converted into text and shown at the top of the dialog. When you click the Done button, the displayed text will become the name of the Journal.

Manage Existing Journals

You can access the Journal Menu for a journal by selecting the 3 dots  Icon used to show there is a details menu on an item in Journal in the upper right of the journal cover on the Home Screen.

You will be offered options to:

  • Customize - Opens a dialog that allows you to customize the name, color, or icon of the journal.

  • Delete Journal - This deletes the journal file from file system and removes it from the Home Screen.

  • Move To - Provides a list of folders that you can move the current journal to.

  • Show in Explorer - Launches a File Explorer window that will be open to the folder that contains the journal's file.
