Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2010. This update provides the latest fix for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Office 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issues that this update fixes

  • Assume that you set a custom filter for a column header in the Datasheet view of a list on a Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 site. Then, you switch to the Standard view, and then back to the Datasheet view. When you set a custom filter, the drop-down fields are missing in the custom filter.

  • When you open an¬†OpenDocument Text (.odt) file in an Office 2010 application, some information such as equations, shapes, pictures, text boxes and content controls that are saved in the .odt file are lost.

  • Assume that antivirus software is running on the computer. When you open a document in Protected View in an Office 2010 application, the Office 2010 application stops responding.

  • Assume that you set the location to Croatia on the computer. When you start Microsoft Word 2010, Microsoft Excel 2010, or Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 for the first time, the¬†Default File Types dialog box does not appear.
