This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office 2013 hotfix package that is dated June 20, 2013.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
Consider the following scenario:
You have Office documents that are synchronized between the local disk and Microsoft OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive for Business.
You receive an error message when you upload a file in Office upload center.
You delete the file on the local disk.
You discard the changes you made for the file in Office upload center.
In this situation, you receive the following error message:
The action can't be completed because the file is open. Close the file and try again.
You cannot save a document in Word 2013 or Excel 2013 as a web page (.html or .htm file type) to a local OneDrive for Business folder.
Consider the following scenario:
There is a file conflict between a local folder for OneDrive for Business and a SharePoint Server 2013 document library.
You open the file in an Office application, and then you click Keep Server Version in the Resolve Conflict dialog box.
You make some changes for the file in an Office Web App.
You open the file in the Office application again.
In this situation, you cannot download the file changes from the server.
When you click the Organization tab of a contact in Lync 2013, Lync 2013 crashes.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

To install this hotfix package, you must have Office 2013 installed.
You do not have to restart the computer after you install this hotfix.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace a previously released hotfix.
To use one of the hotfixes in this package, you do not have to make any changes to the registry.
This hotfix package may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix package contains only the files that you must have to resolve the issue that listed in this article.
The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
