This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Office 2013 hotfix package that is dated August 13, 2013.
Issues that this hotfix package fixes
When you use a stylus pen to draw, write, or highlight text in a slide show in PowerPoint 2013, ink mode is not enabled automatically.
Then, when ink mode is enabled, you cannot use touch gestures to interact with the slide show.
Notes You must manually enable ink mode to draw, write, or highlight text, and you must manually disable ink mode before you can use touch gestures.
When you open a presentation in PowerPoint 2013 from a SharePoint Server 2013 site, it takes longer than expected to move to the next slide in the slide show of the presentation.

Click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
Locate and then select the following registry subkey:
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type StylusAutoInk, and then press Enter.
In the Details pane, right-click StylusAutoInk, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor.
Note If you change the value of the StylusAutoInk registry entry to 1, the new stylus pen behavior is enabled.
